April's almost over...

but it's just the beginning of many many great things for me. I look forward to the rest of 2009 with great optimism...aaaah!

yea, i've been missing for a while - yet again! Went home for my sister's wedding and it was absolutely fantastic but super-busy. I was like the freaking energizer bunny for the week and a half i was home...but it was so great being around all my family members. But alas, now i'm back in SC with a crazy load of work that needs to be done. But i'm up for the challenge :p

I'll be sure to put up random pictures from my trip later. For now i'll leave y'all w/ a song from one of my fav artists - Maxwell. I absolutely love his music and i almost always feel like crying just listening to him - lol! Anyways, here's "pretty wings," which is the first single off his new album. I'z back ninjas....

Yeaa... it's been one of those series of days that just roll into each other with lots of work to do and no time to do it and me telling myself that if i'm not really working then i shouldn't really be blogging either...even though i did finally get around to doing some work but the blogging part...naaaah! I guess for once i didn't have very much to say but i'm back now...kinda sorta!

Soo... what have I been up to? let's see.....

aah, i'm trying to actually spend some more days in school now instead of working from home - so all images up there are from school work (except from my likkle macbook that i love so much and just had to get a picture of... lol)...

Then, i've been exercising...i've managed to keep it to a 5-day (per week) minimum so far and i'm pretty impressed with myself. It's basically just been cardio, yoga and pilates...

now i just hope i can drag myself out of bed early enough for my pilates class tomorrow :$

For whatever reason, the weather has been crap the last couple of days and doesn't seem to be getting any better. Unfortunately, my body "system" reacts horribly to rapid changes in weather so right now, i've got a cold/cough and i've totally lost my voice. I sound....ODD! (but apparently it's amusing to others :| ) ... so now, nyquil and i have a love thang going on - it's the only thing that gets me to sleep peacefully without any random congestion-induced headaches. I love you Nyquil!!!!

see (below), just last week, it was nice and sunny and people were laying in the grass and driving with their tops down... why did the sunshine have to go away?!?!?!

Oh, and these last set of images are just - random! I had to take a picture of the girl's outfit 'cause i really really could NOT understand what she was going for with it?!?! lmao...oh, and mama got herself a new pair of shoes ;)

Other than that, it's more of the same really. Working hard on my research 'cause i'm taking a 2wk break before the end of semester for a family event and i'm trying to make up for future lost time *gasp* wish me luck?!

off to get meself 8 yummy hours of shut-eye!
